12 Ruby Tuesday

American-Flag

A long time has past sense I have participated in a Ruby Tuesday posting. Ruby Tuesday is a group of Bloggers for some crazy reason share photos that have red in it or some variation on that color.  Mary AKA “The Teach” is the mastermind of this meme.

This particular submission is a photo that I shot at the TVCC campus while delivering water on my route. This a huge flag and on this day there was enough wind to unfurl her, I am not kidding when I say it needs a huge gust to get her flying and luck of luck I had my camera with me at this moment in time.

Enhancing the flag in post processing with Adobe Elements, I wanted the flag to wave right off the screen.

The stars and stripes is always a perfect ruby. The 13 bars have morphed into 50 lovely stars. It is large and needs a hefty gust to keep it going, but the look while in motion is wonderful, as always...
