9 Banks of the Payette River

Payette River KAP

click for big image

Today I went *KAP’ing by the Payette River, it was nice and sunny out, but the wind was really flaking out. Big gust and little gust, too crazy for me in this brushy area to keep the kite and the camera up in the air. Kite Aerial Photography Also just a little to breezy to wet a line and drowned a worm, for some catfish. Which is the top fish in the Payette River besides bass.

Are there trout in that river? LOL
hubby used to tell me stories about sending up hydrogen balloons as a kid. He was a little mad scientist. He loved to watch them blow up. If you've ever met Hank you'd understand. He grew up all science-y.

Lois not that I have ever caught, wish there were! Though there is big bass and catfish in there. Hank sounds like a cool dude. I never thought about a hydrogen balloon… hmmmm… lol!

Hey, Roger. Are you the little man dot in the picture? That is super cool. I would love to do the kite in a small city and then apply a tilt shift affect to make it like a mini world. Very inspiring.

Are you ever afraid you won't be able to control the "landing" and will end up with a smashed camera?

Is that you down there Roger? How fun. Yesterday we boated from our island back to the marina and it was ugly windy. To say that it was a heck of a ride back would be an understatement.

Have a terrific day and week ahead. Big hugs and lotsa lovies. :)

Wow! The camera flew really high. Were you trying to see where the fish were? I'm ready to go Crappie fishing. Should be soon!

Don't know if I'll get around to doing any fishing. It's been over 45 years since I had the desire to drown any worms. But - I'm going camping this summer and I can hardly wait. I love Idaho out doors!
